The Asia Initiative was formed to encourage more active exchange and collaboration across Asian Out of Home (OOH) markets, while supporting closer alignment with the World Out of Home Organization (WOO) guidelines.
Asian OOH markets continue to develop at different speeds and in different ways. While this diversity is a strength, it also highlights the need for greater dialogue, shared understanding, and regional cooperation—particularly in areas such as audience measurement, data use, and industry development.
As its first regional project, the Asia Initiative is organising the OOH Regional Seminar Shenzhen 2026, in association with WOO. The seminar is designed as a workshop-led forum bringing together national OOH associations, media owners, agencies, buyers, and technology partners from across Asia.
Rather than focusing on formal presentations or fixed outcomes, the seminar aims to create open, practical discussion, share real market experiences, and explore realistic next steps for Asian markets at different stages of maturity—while reinforcing alignment with WOO’s global direction.
Through this initiative, the Asia Initiative seeks to strengthen regional cooperation and help Asian OOH markets move forward together with greater confidence and clarity.
